We have been the premier rebuilder of rotary screw airends for air, gas, blower, and refrigeration applications for over 15 years. There is no other rebuild facility in the world that has the capability to supply you with the types of products and services we offer. Oil-Flooded Rotary Screw Airend Rebuilding

Performance Parts offers a complete rotary screw oil-flooded airend rebuild program for the following brands:

The rebuild process starts with complete disassembly and inspection of the airend. All bearings, journals, gear fits, and bearing bores are visually inspected and measured. All housings and rotor sets are inspected for damage. Our standard scope of work includes installation of bearings, seals, gaskets, and o-rings with new premium quality parts. All metal repairs are performed and rotor sets are dynamically balanced. The airend is then assembled, pressure-tested, and painted and palletized. Following are some additional repairs we perform:

• Restoration of rotor profiles
• Restoration of worn or damaged sealing strips
• Specialized welding repairs to meet the stringent forces the airend undergoes
• Magnaflux diagnostics to determine rotor cracks not visible to the human eye

Oil-Free Rotary Screw Airend Rebuilding

The Phoenix Service Program from Performance Parts is the first of its kind in the industry. It offers a cost-effective alternative to buying new replacement elements for Atlas Copco rotary screw Z model (ZR, ZT, ZA and ZE) oil-free air compressors. It includes both an airend exchange and rebuild program. You can order a reconditioned element directly from stock. Or, if you like, we can rebuild your original airend and return it to you completely reconditioned. The program includes Atlas Copco rotary screw MKI and MKII elements, stages 1 thru 6, encompassing all standard Z model rotary screw compressors up to 900 hp that were manufactured from 1968 onward. We also repair rotary tooth elements for ZR/T 15-50 compressors.

During the rebuild process, we install new bearings that are designed and engineered in conjunction with the most reputable bearing manufacturers in the compressor industry. They are equivalent
to the OEM bearings. Old seal assemblies are then replaced. And finally, we recoat rotors/housing. Original coatings and corrosion are removed and prepared for recoating. We use a proven coating technology that provides excellent corrosion and temperature resistance and protects against overall wear. To ensure the durability and efficient operation of the reconditioned element, all critical parts are designed and engineered according to Ingersoll Rand’s highest quality standards.

Blower and Vacuum Pump Rebuilding

Performance Parts also offers a complete blower and vacuum pump rebuild program. The rebuild process begins with a tear down of the blower or vacuum pump. We completely clean the product and it undergoes an inspection to determine the cause of breakdown and to prevent any future breakdowns. All products receive new bearings, new seal assemblies and new gaskets. Our parts are equivalent or superior to OEM specifications. All products undergo dynamic balancing to guarantee a trouble-free operation. They are then reassembled and pressure-tested.

Airend Rebuild Kits and Parts Supply

Performance Parts offers a wide range of parts for airend repairs. All parts are equivalent or superior to OEM specifications. We only use high quality steel and bronze cage bearings. Most of our parts are in always in stock.

• Repair Kits – We have wide range of in-stock repair kits. Repair kits generally consist of
  bearings, gaskets, o-rings and a shaft seal.
• Oil Pumps – We offer a wide range of Tuthill oil pumps.
• Input Shafts – Quality input shafts are available for almost all compressor models.
  For the most popular range, we have the shafts in stock. We are able to manufacture
  almost any input shaft to OEM specifications for your application.
• Gear Sets – We have a wide range of new and used gear sets available.
